Abstract (English) Since 2015, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) guide global progress towards poverty eradication, planetary protection and prosperity for all by 2030. In the Canary Islands, these goals have been localized through the Agenda Canaria de Desarrollo Sostenible 2030 (ACDS 2030), which mobilizes public administrations, businesses, academia, NGOs and citizens around five dimensions: People, Planet, Prosperity, Governance and Culture. This article examines concrete implementations—BarriODS, ISTAC indicators, Rutas 2030 and the ODS Observatory—and presents a case study of Grupo Lopesan’s contributions to SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), highlighting renewable‐energy investments, circular‐economy measures and decent‐work policies in its Canary‐Islands resorts.
